Here’s a lil peek at Jason and his antics yet again…2009 version though. Returning to the story that started it all, this retelling of the original Friday the 13th heads back to summer camp where a mysterious killer is systematically slaughtering the teenage camp counselors. Directed by Marcus Nispel.
The Wayans Brothers are back with another crazy movie spoof ‘Dance Flick’. This movie, which hits theaters August 6th 2009, manages to make fun of every recent dance movie you can think of, including “Step Up”, “Save The Last Dance”, and “You Got Served”.
Directed by Damien Dante Wayans, and written by Keenen Ivory Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Marlon Wayans, Craig Wayans, and Damien Dante Wayans, the film stars Damon Wayans Jr., Craig Wayans, Shoshana Bush, and Essence Atkins.

“Gilligan’s Island” is headed for the big screen. Plans to develop the 1960s TV sitcom into a feature film are underway and the producers of the movie already have their eyes on Beyoncé.
Sherwood Schwartz, one of the film’s producers, said that they are trying to secure Beyoncé to play sexy “movie star” Ginger Grant in the big screen adaptation, although nothing has been finalized. The original role of Ginger was played by actress Tina Louise.
Dawn Wells, who starred as Mary Ann on the hit TV series, told TV Guide that she likes the idea of Beyoncé playing red-headed Ginger. “There isn’t anybody sexier than Beyoncé!”
Michael Cera, who played Paulie Bleeker in Juno, is also being considered for the part of Gilligan.
Here’s a clip of Beyoncé playing actor Idris Elba’s wife in the new stalker thriller Obsessed. This will be the first movie, suspense movie, that Mrs. Carter has starred in that hasn’t been a singing role. I’m loving the fact that she is really doing her thing in this clip and it looks worth the $10 to go see it at the movies. Bey kicking another girl’s ass, now that we must see!
It will be out in April 24, 2009, so y’all support the hardest working woman in showbiz.
An exclusive video clip from the upcoming movie ‘Cadillac Records’ was released online earlier this week. In the clip, Etta James (portrayed by Beyonce) and Leonard Chess (portrayed by Adrien Brody) have a conflict over the direction of a song, but ultimately Etta pulls it off.
I think this is gonna be Oscar worthy. My girl has really stepped up her game and honestly when I see her acting I don’t see Beyonce, she’s totally distant and the character takes over…something like Sasha Fierce only she’s not on stage she’s in front of a camera.

AOL Blackvoices has learned that Grammy-winning soul singer, songwriter, and actress Erykah Badu has landed a leading role opposite Mos Def in the indie film, ‘Bobby Zero’. Mos Def will play the romantic lead in the story of a down-on-his-luck social satirist who gives up his artistic aspirations to work at an advertising agency. The talented bohemian and his agoraphobic girlfriend hit rock bottom after years of struggling as a couple. To make ends meet, Bobby goes corporate with the advertising job and is confronted by his past beliefs, stepping outside the box and discovering that there the world is not what he expected.
I can’t wait to see something new from Ms. Badu [hey that rhymed]. Hopefully, she’ll be ready for the role after she has her baby. Production for the movie is expected sometime in 2009.
Here’s the breakdown:
