I’m gone let the video speak for itself but I will say it’s glad to see Erykah out and about doing the damn thang and freestyling, way to represent girl…and where is the album(s) that she was supposed to be coming out with last year and supposedly this year?
I know I’m late but I had to post the girl doing her thing at the Oscars. This was her third time performing so that’s says something about her as a whole…they love them some Bey!!
I thought she would be singing live and not lip synching but these were not her songs and she did how many? Anyway, she did great and it felt like it’s been a long time since she’s performed.

Beyoncé opened the show with ‘Halo’ at the 40th Annual NAACP Image Awards that aired on FOX…I somehow missed this and I’m usually up on my Bey shit. This is her first performance in a long time. She wasn’t even at the Grammy’s. Beyoncé also picked up the award for Outstanding Female Artist. Check out the video…
I was on YouTube searching for old school videos and ran across this. I can’t believe the courage she had to stay on stage and sing after being booed. Granted she didn’t have the best voice back then but damn how things change.

Now that’s saying something. Check out this video of Fantasia performing “Lady Marmalade” on the Evening of Stars. She killed it and Patti thought so too. I’m glad to see my girl performing it’s been a minute…she did that like she never left. I’m usually not a fan off all that hollering she does but it was so right for this occasion. Five-time Grammy nominee Jazmine Sullivan performed “Bust Your Windows” on “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” earlier this week. She knows she needs to be in somebody church sanging with those pipes…girl can blow!
Beyoncé performed ‘The Way We Were‘ at the Kennedy Center Honors for her “career model” Barbra Streisand. She did a great job…her tone and overall performance was timeless and elegant. I was thinking how old that song was and Bey was even born when this song came out but for her to sing it to Barbra Streisand says how timeless music really is. Just think when Beyoncé is Barbra’s age someone not even born yet will probably be honoring Bey with ‘Dangerously In Love‘ or ‘Halo‘ or one of her many other songs. Hope I’m alive to see that!
