Chris Brown’s Image Tarnished?

I ran across this video on YouTube and thought I’d post it and give my two cents since er’body got something to say about the whole Chris Brown and Rihanna fiasco.

After watching this video and hearing T-Pain say that Chris Brown thought that the lyrics “My shawty chunky chunky, she thick thick/and she got thighs and more thighs and booty for me” would be to devastating to his image, did he think that physical and verbal abuse would do any better. I mean its one thing to admire your woman’s body but to hit her and destroy that you gotta be on some other shit. I was gone keep my piece about this whole situation but to find out what and how he did what he did, he really has lost his damn mind and a whole bunch of fans along with it. All I can say is “HE GETS IT!” and that ain’t a good thing.

Usher and Tameka expecting 2nd child

Usher and his wife, Tameka Foster, are expecting their second child, People magazine reports.

The couple welcomed a son, Usher Raymond V, in November. Usher, 29, recently told People that he is very excited about fatherhood. “I’m so proud to be a father by the time I’m 30,” he told the magazine last month. “I’d hate to be 80 years old and not be able to run with my kids. I need to still be able to do flips when they’re in high school!

“Having a child just completed the story,” he told the magazine. “I already had a giving heart, and I wanted to do something to mentor children.”

The singer also opened up to Essence magazine in a July interview. He described his son, nicknamed Cinco, as an “extension of his union” with his wife, whom he married in August 2007.

The news comes in the wake of Usher’s recent announcement that he will kick off a ladies-only tour called One Night Stand later this fall. Now that Usher is a married family man, he hopes this tour, in support of his latest album, Here I Stand, will prove that he’s still sex-symbol material.

“The ladies like to see that masculine build,” he said. “They question if I still got it.

“There’s only a few artists that can pull that off,” he added. “I feel like I’ve had such a connection with my audience. This album, I felt like, was definitely the type of one that was more intimate. So what better way to get up close and personal than to make it all women?”

Child he gets it…I thought they were supposed to be separating or something. Either way good luck with that.

DaBrat sentenced to 3 years in prison

Shawntae “Da Brat” Harris, 34, was sentenced to 3 years in prison Friday, as a result of hitting and slashing a women in the face with a bottle of rum last Halloween. TMZ is reporting that Da Brat will also receive 7 years probation.

About six members of Harris’ family wept when a sheriff’s deputy took her into custody. “I love y’all,” Da Brat said as she was led out of the courtroom. “We love you, too,” the relatives replied in unison.

The incident happened at a Halloween party at Studio 72 nightclub (owned by Jermaine Dupri) last year. The rapper got into an altercation with the waitress and was said to have picked up a bottle of rum and smashed it into the women’s face. The victim was taken to the hospital with cuts to her face and above her eyes. The woman suffered permanent facial scarring.
