New Blog…New Blog…New Blog
Finally, Day 26 has released a video for their first single, Imma Put It On Her…two weeks before the album release? Looks like the video was shot in Miami for a lil spring-time feel…it’s cool and simple. I like the original version that I heard of the song with just the boys on it. Diddy and Joc did not add anything special to the track but I guess Diddy thought it would appeal to the masses that way (he’s always adding Yung Joc to a track for some reason, I don’t see the effect).
The boy Trey Songz released this video on Myspace yesterday and I been tryna get my hands on a YouTube video and here it is guys. I think he could’ve stepped up on the concept, but it is shot differently from other videos so I guess that makes it unique. Either way as long as Trey is in this video its a winner to me…y’all check it out!
Yung LA feat. Ricco Barrino - Futuristic Love (Elroy) LISTEN
I’m not too much of a Yung LA fan but I had to post this ’cause Ricco’s on the track. Just like his sister vocally but he sounds very different and is very different from other R&B singers out.
Day 26 – Get Away Girl LISTEN
I like this song alot and I’m glad they’re trying to do something different this time around, even though it’s not that much.
Omarion – I Think My Girl Is (Ay Ay) LISTEN
Here’s another my girl gotta girlfriend song…but the first from Omari. He’s basically saying, “I think my girl is bi ay ay ay”. Anyway, whatever works, I guess?

Video: Bow Wow – Like This
Bow Wow probably can’t wait for his album to drop cause here’s a viral video he shot for “Like This” which features Dondria. I think they could’ve done a real video for this song ’cause it’s catchy and Dondria need some play too. Bow has stepped his game up a bit lyrically which is cool and necessary for this album to do what he expects.
Looks like Babs finally dropping some music and a video. Hopefully, they (her and Lady Luck) can get something popping real soon…us ladies been waitin’ too long for representation. Check it out…

Beyoncé’s getting money from everywhere…endorsing L’oreal, American Express, etc…she can now add Nintendo to that list. The “Diva” gets her game on with nephew Julez in this exclusive behind-the-scenes clip and interview. She partners with Nintendo on their ad campaign for the game Rhythm Heaven for the new Nintendo DSi, launching April 5. The commercial is slated to air March 30.

Monica – One In A Lifetime LISTEN
Glad to hear Monica doing a song that is just right for her right now. The track is produced by B. Cox…I think they need to make a few more tracks together for her CD because his productions with her voice are like magic.
Ludacris and Shawnna – Everybody Drunk LISTEN
I think this track is from their upcoming Battle of the Sexes CD, which they say should be out this summer. This track ain’t that fire but I can’t wait to hear what else they working with because Shawnna is in my Top 5 Female MCs and we need some heat right now.
Day 26 – Bipolar LISTEN
Songs have been leaking left and right from these boys but I’ve liked them all with this song being the exception. I mean I like some aspect of it because I’m posting it but it just doesn’t compete with the other tracks I’ve heard. I’m sure it’s a Bipolar chick out there who ain’t gone appreciate this here…what were they thinking when they wrote this?
